For more than 30 years, Altima Markville Mall Dental Centre has supported families, children, adults, and seniors across Markham with gentle, thoughtful dental care. Dr. Michelle Hone
General Dentist
Dr. Michelle Hone completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. Born and raised in Toronto, she has been practicing dentistry in Markham and Toronto since graduating.
She is a general practitioner who provides care in all areas of dentistry. Dr. Hone is Invisalign Certified and also offers traditional orthodontic treatment, including early orthodontics for children. She participates in ongoing continuing education to remain current with developments in dental techniques and technology.
Dr. Hone is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside her practice, Dr. Hone enjoys spending time with her daughter, travelling, music, salsa dancing, snowboarding, and learning to surf. She also supports several charitable organizations, including the Canadian Cancer Society, Plan International, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, North York Harvest Food Bank, and Scott Mission.
Dr. Kasra Badii
General Dentist
Dr. Kasra Badii earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 1996. He maintained a private practice in Tehran for over 20 years.
In 2016, Dr. Badii completed the National Dental Equivalency Process and obtained his license from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). He has been practicing dentistry in Toronto ever since.
Dr. Badii is dedicated to providing thorough and compassionate care, with a focus on long-term oral health and patient comfort.
Dr. Samson So
General Dentist
Dr. Samson So completed both his undergraduate studies (BSc in Biology, 2012) and his dental degree (DDS, 2016) at Western University.
Dr. So is passionate about dental education and committed to ongoing learning. He also serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Division at Western University, where he actively contributes to dental training and research.
He provides comprehensive care to his patients, including complex procedures such as dental implant placements, extractions, bone grafts, IV moderate conscious sedation, and biopsies.
